Values

We might say four pillars meaning those things that are foundational.

• Worship – True worship begins with prayerful dependence. We are dependent on God for everything! We express our dependence on God with prayer (1 Thessalonians 5:17).  We acknowledge that God desires people to worship Him in spirit and truth. Our intent in our public worship services is to exalt Christ so that people encounter God.  We believe that a heart of worship should encompass our entire lives (Colossians 3:17).
• Community – God made human beings relational.  So we will strive to build caring, spiritually nurturing relationships. We do this in many ways, and in various activities.  The primary way to enable this is through small groups. (Galatians 6:2; Romans 12:4).
• Discipleship – Discipleship is growing in Christ.  We are real people who live in a real world and life has serious challenges.  Being a disciple is doing things God’s way, not our own way.  We believe that caring relationships are the best environment for true reproducing discipleship (Ephesians 5:12).
• Missional Activity – We desire to represent the mission and message of Jesus Christ through outreach to the unbelieving and those disconnected from church.  We will strive to present the gospel of Jesus Christ to as many as possible and live our lives in a way that brings glory to our Father in heaven (1 Corinthians 9:22-23).
